Art Requirements for Garment Printing

  • 300 dpi/ppi art at full print size
  • Art should be in layers and not flattened
  • Each color in your print should be on it’s own separate layer.
  • Photoshop or Illustrator file extensions only (.psd, .eps, .pdf, .ai, .tiff)
  • .jpegs are not accepted. They are compressed images,  blur details and edges, and make your art difficult to print
  • All text converted to vector format, curves or outlines
  • Regular print size is 13″ wide x 15″ tall
  • Oversized print size is 16″ wide by 20″ tall
  •  Long sleeve prints are 3.5″ wide by 15″ long max
  • Short sleeve prints are 3.5″ wide by 3.5″ tall max
  • Inside neck tags are 3.5″ wide by 3.5″ tall max
  • Infant onesies and toddler tees are 8″ wide by 8″ tall max
  • We do not print across zippers, pockets, or seams
  • Zipper hoodies will need to have the art split in the center with a 1.5″ gap and a max height of 11″ tall
  • Pullover hoodies front max print size is 13″ wide by 11″ tall to not print on the pockets
  • If you would like a print to be 7″ wide by 12″ tall your artwork should be supplied at that  image size
  • Do not leave 3″ of background color on each side of your art and say it is a 7″ image, the actual image size would only be 1″… crop as close to the art as possible to get an accurate image size
  • Failure to follow these requirements may result in art fees
  • Art Fees start at $25.00 per hour 1 hour min on all art that does not meet these standards
  • You will be advised upfront of total art fees

please see the following images as examples of how low resolution artwork will not print well

in the above example it shows the different resolutions people send in and why you can not just “fix” or resize a 72 dpi image and make it 300 dpi and expect it to look good
